My Story

My nursing career began in 2014, leading me through diverse roles in both the UK and Australia. During the Covid-19 pandemic, I worked on the Intensive Care Unit in the UK – facing challenges I never foresaw. Like many healthcare professionals, I navigated through unprecedented circumstances, but it took a toll on my mental wellbeing. Described as a ticking time bomb, I ignored all the signs, eventually hitting rock bottom – struggling with burnout, panic attacks and PTSD. My passion for nursing faded, leaving me unfulfilled, my body seemingly stuck in survival mode.

In the continuous journey of my recovery, I have realised that we don’t need to hit rock bottom to acknowledge that change is necessary. Our breaking point isn’t triggered by one or two things going wrong; it arrives when we recognise that the issue lies not in how the world is, but in how we are.

I am here to make a difference beyond the boundaries of traditional medicine. My mission is to revolutionise the healthcare system, providing the support nurses need to cultivate a life beyond their ‘nurse’ identity while still becoming the exceptional nurse they aspire to be!
